Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is known for her performances in the films 'Beta'"Saajan," and 'Humaapke Hain Koun'. ..!' She began her career in the 1980s , and came to popularity with her appearance in the movie 'Tezaab' in which she appeared alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Then, she appeared in the movie "Dil" in which she shared the screen space alongside Aamir Khan. Born into a middle-class family in Mumbai, she started learning dance from a young age. When she was a child, she tried acting and failed for a few years. Her career took off and eventually, she would become a top actor in the Indian film industry. She took a break from her career after her marriage prior to returning to the entertainment business. Dixit was also an integral role in the movie "Gulaab Gang," which was a documentary about the challenges faced by Indian women. Dixit has been nominated fifteen times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of these awards she won. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour in India. She is well-known for her work in the field of social service as well.
