Hossack has a family in Steinbach the province of Manitoba in Canada. In her early years Hossack grew up studying within Killarney Manitoba. She was also involved in musical theater productions. After graduation her studies, she claimed she was interested in acting with no desire to pursue the drama field. When she graduated from Brandon She then attended the Banff School of Fine Arts. Hossack started appearing on stage at the Rainbow Stage and at the Muskoka Festival, in Winnipeg.
