Robyn Rihanna, better known as Rihanna in Barbados, is a Barbadian artist and performer who has provided us with hit songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. As a young, successful singer-songwriter she is already one of the most successful selling artists. Born in Barbados her family listened to reggae music and began singing while she was young. When she was disturbed by the chaos of her family life and constant disputes with her father she became immersed with music. In the end, she realized that she was on the right track to become a professional. In high school she formed group and performed to be a part of Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was amazed by her talents. He requested for the teenager to relocate to New York and pursue a performing career that was full-time. Rihanna jumped at the chance to take it. Her debut album quickly became a hit and she was hailed as a music sensation. The young people loved her upbeat songs, which inspired Rihanna to make movies. As a talented young woman, Rihanna has been hailed as a teenage idol. Rihanna uses her fame to great use through being engaged in a variety of charities.
